The Elma Watch-Matic is a testing device that displays the watch’s rate curve on its screen.

The values measured for rate deviation, amplitude, and beat error are automatically calculated and displayed numerically. A built-in speaker allows the ticking of the watch to be heard.

Not only can you hear the ticking, but you can also detect any scraping or friction sounds that indicate faults. Based on this information, the watch’s rate can be adjusted even more precisely.
