Turning Tool (Graver)
In some cases, the best surface quality of workpieces is not achieved by polishing, but directly during turning with an industrial diamond — for example, in the fine machining of turned parts made of gold.
A perfectly glossy surface is produced.
Since no further finishing is required after diamond turning, edges and chamfers — whose shape is often affected by polishing — remain perfectly intact.
However, diamond is very brittle and must therefore be handled with great care.
